The following company policy for quality, environment and energy is a binding guideline for our entrepreneurial activity and is valid for all employees.

Committed, responsible and technically skilled employees are a prerequisite and the foundation of our success. We continuously promote qualifications, quality awareness and a sense of responsibility for environmental and energy issues at all levels through education, training and in everyday life.

In order to define responsibilities and standards and to ensure continuous improvement, our management system for our locations is described in this manual. The management has appointed a representative who is responsible for the introduction and implementation of the quality, environmental and energy management system.

Quality

We reliably meet our customers' requirements and strive for continuous improvement of our products and services.

Customer satisfaction is at the heart of everything we do, supported by transparent processes and qualified personnel.

Our certified quality management system ensures that our processes are efficient, traceable and continuously optimisable.

Environment

We recognise climate change as one of the key challenges of our time and actively contribute to limiting global warming.

Together with the regulatory authorities, we take precautions to minimise the risk of accidents.

Beyond the legal and regulatory requirements, we are systematically working to continuously reduce emissions and waste and to incorporate environmentally friendly and energy-efficient production processes. To this end, an improvement management system is firmly established within the company.

We exert a decisive influence on the quality, environmental compatibility and efficient energy use of our manufacturing processes and products. Through clear specifications and effective project management in the development process, we ensure that quality, environmental, sustainability, social and energy aspects are examined and taken into account in advance of production.

Environment and use of chemicals

We only use chemicals that are approved and therefore safe to use.

  • Monitoring of chemicals and restrictions on individual substances (ZDHC MRSL, GOTS positive list, REACH/SVHC, etc.).
  • Maintaining and regularly updating an inventory list (hazardous substances register) of the chemicals used and stored.
  • Active data research and collection of basic information about the chemicals (safety data sheets in accordance with GHS regulations).
  • Provision of the inventory and associated safety data sheets to anyone entering the work area.
  • Risk analysis and substitution of hazardous chemicals.
  • Proper disposal of expired chemicals, for example.
  • Application of and compliance with wastewater standards, performance of wastewater analyses.
  • Initiation of projects to minimise water and energy consumption.

All persons working with chemicals are trained in the relevant topics (use of chemicals, storage, safe
handling, etc.).

Energy

We continuously analyse and optimise our energy use in order to reduce our energy consumption in a sustainable manner.

The use of renewable energies is specifically promoted.

Energy efficiency is a key factor in the development of new processes and products.

Energy is used sparingly and responsibly within the company so that the consumption of energy resources is carried out in line with sustainable resource use.

Social responsibility and ethical principles

We are committed to the Code of Conduct of the German textile and fashion industry and want to set standards for successful business practices.

Compliance with all official and legal requirements and regulations, as well as respectful treatment of employees, suppliers and customers, are a matter of course for us. This includes, among other things: environmental, labour and human rights, ethics, diversity, coercion, bribery/corruption, whistleblower protection law (Whistleblower Directive), supply chain law.

The quality and environmental compatibility of our production also depend on our suppliers. We therefore require our suppliers to strictly adhere to our specifications for the products they deliver. We support our suppliers in pursuing common goals (quality, environment and energy, labour and human rights).

We work closely with our customers, advising and supporting them in the use of our products and providing information on environmental and social aspects.

Continuous improvement

We promote a culture of continuous improvement in which every employee contributes to the further development of our company.

We see identified errors and risks as an opportunity for improvement. Anyone who identifies a defect or deviation and is unable to remedy it themselves within the scope of their authority must report it to their line manager immediately.

Economic efficiency

Our controlled and cost-optimised processes lead to an increase in our profitability and the successful improvement of our market position.

We regularly communicate our integrated management policy to our employees, suppliers, etc.

Every year, we undertake to review our corporate policy as part of the management assessment and to initiate any necessary corrections.
